Grade B vanilla pods are the most popular choice amongst our brewery and distillery customers. Compared to A-grade vanilla pods they are a little smaller in size at +12cm with a slightly less intense vanilla aroma and a moisture content of 15-30%. Visually they are lighter in color and less glossy than A-grade vanilla, however, they are a good choice for a balance between budget and quality.

Fine ground vanilla bean powder produced from fresh natural vanilla beans. Grade A ground vanilla powder has an intense vanilla aroma and taste which requires less quantity and less permeation time to produce a full flavoured higher quality product. Vanilla beans used for making A grade ground vanilla powder are fresh non-spent vanilla that are dried to less than 10% moisture content and ground into a fine powder.
